Marvin T. Broyhill III, born on November 11, 1941, passed away on Monday March 21, 2016. He was the son of the late Marvin T. II and Audrey E. Wilson Broyhill II. Marvin served his country proudly in the Air Force during the Cold War. Marvin leaves his mark on Petersburg having been a Pioneer Entrepreneur in the Revitalization of Old Town, to include Appomattox Iron Works, The French Betsy, Bank Street, and Old Street. Encouraging others to do the same, making Old Town what it has become today. He is survived by his wife, Michelle Broyhill; sons, Mike and Jim Broyhill; stepsons, Dominique, Steven, and Yannick Legault; grandson, Jeremy Legault; several other extended family and friends.
