Marvin T. (Teddy) Snyder died Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at the residence of his sister in Prince George County, Virginia. He was born in Montgomery County, Virginia, to the late William Grant and Eva Elizabeth Sarver Snyder. Prior to his illness he was a resident of Blacksburg, VA. He served in the U.S. Navy and was an Auto Mechanic for Harmon’s Chevron, in Christiansburg, VA. He is survived by 4 sisters, Anita E. Hughes and husband Leonard of Prince George, VA., Sandra S. Anderson and husband Jimmy of Savanna, Ga., Brenda S. Irish of Roanoke, Va., Debra Simmons and husband Sammy of Christiansburg, Va., a brother, Perry M. Snyder and wife Janet of Springfield, Ohio, seven nieces, Laura Shields of Prince George, Va., Lisa Sylvester of Hopewell, Va., Lanissa Hughes and husband Dan Barina of Waxhaw, N.C.., Vicki Weber and husband Barry of Pooler, Ga., Melissa Herdman and husband Erik of Vinton, Va., Katina Simmons and Kari Simmons both of Christiansburg, Va., two nephews, Leonard W. Hughes of Prince George, Va., and Joshua Snyder of Springfield, Ohio, two beloved aunts, Lois Rudisill and Ethel Snyder both of Blacksburg, Va., numerous great nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be held at a later date. The family would like to thank all the caregivers from Crater Community Hospice.
