Mary Ruth Ashmore

Mary Ruth Ashmore, 90, passed away Monday, June 29, 2020.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty nine years, Grady C. Ashmore and her parents, Walter and Lucy Rampey.
Mary retired after more than twenty five years of service at American Filtrona. She was a great cook and specialized in breakfast. She was an avid bowler and loved going to the bay fishing, boating and spending time with Grady and her family.
Mary was a long time member at Liberty Baptist Church.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Deborah Mintz (Richard), Wanda Leake and Cindy Powroznik; sons, Michael Ashmore (Julie) and Darryle Ashmore (Belinda); nine grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020, from 10am to 11am, at Liberty Baptist Church with a service to follow at 11am.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
