Mary Frances Ayers

Mary Frances Ayers, 81 of N. Chesterfield, VA. passed away, Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James F. Smith and Viola May Brown Smith; sister, Betty Dowdy; brother, Earl Smith.
Mary was a longtime member of Webber Memorial Baptist Church, she loved to travel, paint, cross -stitch, and she never met a stranger. “Nanny” will be missed by so many, especially her beloved family. She was a small lady with a huge heart.
She is survived by her loving husband of 65 years, Ralph K. Ayers; children, Cynthia Matthews (Brian), Susan Jones (Billy), and Douglas Ayers (Angela); and sister, Mildred Brunner; 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A private service will be held, 2:00pm, Thursday, January 21, 2021 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home of Chester. The service will be live streamed, go to www.jtmorriss.com . Also, please consider visiting the funeral home website or calling into the funeral home to leave a Hug from Home signifying your attendance at the service. Everyone is invited to Sunset Memorial Park for the interment at 2:45pm.
