Mary Loftis Belcher

Mary Loftis Belcher, 84, of N. Dinwiddie, passed away Tuesday, October 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Ida Griffin Loftis; six siblings, Herbert Loftis, John Loftis, Bobby Loftis, Louise Gardener, Eleanor Radford and Betty Jean Dalton; and grandson, Eric Daniel McKenney. She is survived by three sons, Joseph L. Daniel (Sherrie), Richard M. Daniel (Vicki) and Marvin R. Westmoreland (Debbie); two daughters, Brenda W. Carter (Russ) and Rosemary W. McKenney; eleven grandchildren, Matthew Daniel, Stephen Daniel, Scott Welch, Bryan Daniel, Brock Daniel, Brandon Westmoreland, Berkeley Westmoreland Richmond, Spencer Pilgram, Ryan Carter, Jeffery McKenney and Tracy Cherrix; adopted granddaughter, Katerina Procopio; brother, James H. Loftis; special sister-in-law and friend, Gladys Loftis; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at 3:30 P.M. at Bethel Methodist Church Cemetery, 4045 Church Street, Alberta, VA 23821. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Crater Community Hospice, 3916 S.
