Mary Elizabeth Bryant

Mary Elizabeth Bryant, 61, of Fredericksburg, VA., passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2019 after a long courageous battle with cancer. Mary was born July 24, 1957 in Evergreen Park, IL to John and Margaret (Wirostko) Berta. Mary is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son, Hunter E. Bryant (Sonia); sisters, Joyce Knight (Eric), Janet Berta (Admiral Dennis Jones USN (Ret)) and her twin Margaret Braddy (Don). Mary was tenacious and steadfast in what she believed in and very loyal to those she loved and trusted. She loved cats and “was owned” by many during her life time. She was an avid Washington Redskins and Washington Nationals fan and didn’t have a problem letting you know that. Those of us who knew her and loved her know that she is now adorned with purple wings. A Memorial service will be held on July 8, 2019 at 6 P.M. at The Common Ground Meeting House 1915 Charles St. Fredericksburg, VA. 22401. The family will receive friends between 5 and 6 P.M. There will be a reception after the service.
