Mary Lee Clark, 79, of Petersburg, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014. Born in Marion, VA, she was the daughter of the late William and Beulah Harrison Russell. She was also preceded in death by a great-grandson, Travis Clark. A loving mother and grandmother, Mary was known as “Nanny” to family members and her many friends. She loved to make people laugh and was an excellent cook. She is survived by her daughter, Jackie Wilgus and boyfriend, Jack; son, Dale Clark and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Sherrye Segura, Rickie Wilgus, Amanda Crites, Jennifer Clark and Kimberly Polansky; great-grandchildren, Danielle Segura, Austen Segura, Ann White, Maddie White, Marissa Crites, Amiya Polansky, Aiden Polansky, Kamron Ahmed and William Wilgus; great-great-granddaughter, Alexis Hise; sisters, Virginia Romans, Mable Young and Peggy Sheffield, and a brother, Johnny Russell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
