Mary Balint Cole

Mary Balint Cole, 87, of Chester, VA passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018. Born in Hopewell, VA she was the daughter of the late John and Beulah Rusnak Balint. Mary retired from civil service at Fort Lee after 28 years of service. She was a longtime devoted member of Chester Baptist Church. Mary will be remembered as a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mrs. Cole is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, David L. Cole; one daughter, Lynn Kaufman and husband, Michael; a son, David A. Cole; three grandchildren, Harleigh T. Cole, Joshua A. Cole and Jeremiah L. Thomas; two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Logan; a brother, Johnnie Balint and wife, Pat; and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in Merchant’s Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, VA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
