Mary Taylor Collins

Mary Taylor Collins, 93, of Prince George, VA, widow of Glenn Thomas Collins, died Sunday, February 5, 2017. Born in New Middleton, TN, she was the daughter of the late Roy H. and Julia Hunter Taylor. Mrs. Collins enjoyed cooking and sewing, and was a member of the Piecemakers quilting ministry at Bethlehem Congregational Church. She is survived by her sons, Wayne T. Collins and wife, Greta, and Keith A. Collins and wife, Tammy; daughter, Becky C. Whitchurch and husband, Danny; grandchildren, Dustin Collins and wife, Summer, Shawn Whitchurch, Hunter Collins, Parker Collins, Rileyanne Collins, Hayley Collins, and Carter Collins; great-grandchildren, Caroline Hope Collins, Cooper Grace Collins, and Landon Whitchurch; brother, Jimmy Taylor, as well as several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A graveside funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Appomattox Cemetery.
