Mary Virginia Dale

Mary Starke Dale "Virginia", 90, of Hopewell, Virginia, went to be with our Lord on January 15, 2023. She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis Elwood (Bo); and eleven siblings.
She is survived by two daughters, Janice (Dale) and Laurie (Perrault); two grandsons, Ian (Cathi Lyn) and Erich (Jackie); four great-grandchildren, Grace, Kaitlyn, Waylon, and Wesley; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her church was always an important part of her life, and she was a very knowledgeable Bible teacher. Mary loved her annual trips to Myrtle Beach. She was a good listener and was always willing to help.
A funeral service will be held at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home, 820 West Broadway Avenue, Hopewell, VA 23860, on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. A visitation will be held one hour prior. Interment will follow at Appomattox Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Family of God Church, 2500 Point of Rocks Road, Chester, VA 23836.
