Mary Rigby Fable

Mary Rigby Fable, 94 of Colonial Heights, passed away Monday, June 19, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas J. Rigby, Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Reese; husband, Milton “Jay” Fable; sons, Edward Langford and James Langford; sisters, Dorothy R. Grimes and Edith West; brothers, Thomas Rigby, Jr. and William “Buckjack” Rigby. Mary retired from Brown and Williamson Tobacco Company after 35 years. She is survived by her sister, Shirley R. Stotesberry; brother, Robert Rigby (Shirley); grandchildren, Keith Langford, Lisa Pond (Steve), Robbie Langford (Shelley) and Robyn Langford and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Dunlop House and At Home Care Hospice. A graveside service will be held, 2:00 p.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Rd.
