Mary Teresa Ferguson

Ferguson, Mary T, 96 went to be with the lord on December 26 2015. Mary was born in the county of Dumbarton Scotland. Feb 3, 1919. Arrived thru Ellis Island in 1923 and was raised by her parents in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband William J. Ferguson; her daughter Kathleen Lutz and her parents Thomas and Margaret Keeley; Sister, Margaret Dorn; brothers, David and Thomas Keeley. She is survived by sons, William J. Ferguson (Caroline) of Midlothian VA., Henry Ferguson (Regina) of Horse Heads, NY. and Albert Ferguson (Susan) of Macungie, Pennsylvania, Nine grandchildren, Six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Mary was a foster grandparent in Petersburg district for many years and had a positive influence on many children over the years with foster grandparents. Mary has been at Tyler's Retreat at Iron Bridge in Chesterfield, VA for the last Seven years. A very special thanks to the Administrator, staff, nurses and aides that provided the care and love to Mary. Also a special thanks to all the staff from Gentiva Hospice that provided the special care required to assist Tylers Retreat. Memorial service will be held in Southampton, Pennsylvania at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the area Gentiva Hospice 8000 Franklin Farms Dr. Richmond, VA 23229.
