Mary Margaret Braas Gollattscheck

Mary Margaret Braas Gollattscheck, 72, of Chester, VA passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Born in Niagara Falls, NY she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Bernice Braas; and was also preceded in death by her husband, Mark Leroy Gollattscheck. Mary was a United States Navy veteran and had retired from St. Mary’s Hospital as Registered Nurse after 30 plus years of service. After retiring she enjoyed volunteering with Meals on Wheels. She is survived by her two sons, Patrick A. and Michael A. Gollattscheck; and three sisters, Barbara, Lois and Joan. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Virginia Veteran’s Cemetery at Amelia. The family is being served by the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
