Mary Griffin

Mary Munn Griffin, 77, of Chester, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Edward Griffin, and son, Linnie Thomas Griffin. She is survived by her daughters, Maria Jeanette Petree, and Boyce Luanne Rhodes; son, Eddie Griffin; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brother, Carlton Munn; sisters, Mable Ashe, and Sandra Rhodes; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM on Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at the Hopewell chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 11 AM, Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park, 1901 Bermuda Hundred Road, Chester, VA. 23836.
