Mary Hamlet

Mary Evelyn Hamlet, age 73, of Chester, VA, died Wednesday, June 22, 2011. Mrs. Hamlet was the widow of Clyde D. Hamlet, and was also preceded in death by her son, Philip D. Hamlet. She was an avid bowler earlier in her life. Mary is survived by a daughter, Patricia Hamlet Burgess of Chester; a son, Michael A. Hamlet and wife, Therese, of Chesterfield; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Hamlet; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Jennifer, Robert, and Tina Hamlet, and Richard Burgess. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday June 24, 2011 at the Chesterfield chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment afterwards in the Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
