Mary Hanzlik

Mary Brown Hanzlik, 85, of Colonial Heights passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herschel A. and Margaret Wood Brown and her husband, Frank John Hanzlik. Mary retired from Fort Lee after over 40 years of employment as a civil servant and was a long time member of Highland United Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Phyllis A. Woodward; grandchildren, Caitlin Woodward, Robert Woodward, Amy Woodward, and David Woodward; step children, Margaret Mullins, Barbara Gioe, and John Hanzlik and her step grandchildren, Anna Parker, Michael Hanzlik, and Deborah Lemke. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at Highland United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in St. Josephâ??s Catholic Cemetery.
