Mary Harrington

Mary Elizabeth Harrington, 91, of Richmond passed away on Monday, June 29, 2009. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles W. Harrington and Marian Gill Harrington Havens; a brother, Charles William Harrington, Jr.; and a sister, Ethel Maxine Partin. Elizabeth graduated from Petersburg High School and was a devoted and faithful member of Reveille United Methodist Church. She retired from VEPCO after working over 20 years and served at St. Catherineâ??s Girls School for several years. She is survived by her sister, Alice H. Hogwood; nieces, Carol H. Lunsford and her husband, W. Gene and their daughter, Laurie, and Susan H. Allen and her husband, John; nephews, Louis C. Partin and his wife, Ann, Jerry W. Partin, and Michael Harrington and several other extended family members. A funeral service will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, July 1, 2009 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Blandford Cemetery.
