Mary Howell

Mary Jane Howell, 74, of Petersburg, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2004. Born in Cocoa Beach, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary Ensle Purcell. She was an active volunteer for Petersburg Social Services, a tutor for Petersburg Public Schools, and an active member of the Women’s Club of Petersburg. She is survived by her sons, William Howell, Walter Howell, and Andrew Howell; and a grandson, Christopher Howell. A graveside funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 24, at Blandford Cemetery with the Rev. George Estes officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Ms. Howell’s residence.
