Mary Ellis Jansen

Mary Ellis Jansen, 59, of Hopewell, VA, died December 5, 2017. Born in Dothan AL. and raised in Hopewell, VA, she was the daughter of the late SGM Harry Ellis. She was a loving Wife, Mother and devoted many hours volunteering at horse ranches. She is survived by her husband of 10 years, Vaun George Jansen, of Blackfoot ID; son, Christopher Ryan Ellis, of Hopewell; mother, Mary A Ellis; Four brothers, John Ellis of Hopewell, David Ellis of Hopewell, Allan Ellis of Hopewell and James Ellis of Hopewell; as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2017 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Appomattox Cemetery.
