Mary Costello Harrison Johnson

Mary Costello Harrison Johnson, 91, a former resident of Dinwiddie County, died Saturday, August 5, 2017. Born in Washington, D.C., she was the daughter of the late Elijah and Camille Boswell Harrison. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clarence A. Johnson, her second husband, John H. Johnson, and a son, Clarence A. Johnson, Jr. Mrs. Johnson was a retired employee of Brown & Williamson Tobacco Company and an avid bowler. She is survived by her sons, Tommy J. Johnson and John A. Johnson; daughter, Mary Bernice Johnson; step-children, Richard Johnson, Steve Johnson, Michael Johnson, Wayne Johnson, Gregory Johnson, and Kathy Johnson Thornton, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, a brother, Tommy Harrison, as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Southlawn Memorial Park.
