Mary Keener

Mary Edna Johnson Keener, 81, of Waverly passed away on Sunday, February 21, 2010. She was preceded in death by her parents, Josiah and Mary Bulls Johnson her husband, Robert William Keener and a son, Wesley Tomas Clary, Jr. Mrs. Keener was a member of Waverly Baptist Church.
She is survived by a son, Kenneth Lee Clary; daughters, Christine C. Hall and Diane C. Nagele; 9 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister, Ann J. Knight and a brother, Joe Johnson, Jr.
The family will receive friends at the Purviance Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 from 6 to 8 pm. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Waverly Cemetery.
