Mary P. Kvasnicka, 92, of Prince George County, widow of Louis J. Kvasnicka, Sr., passed away Tuesday, May 24, 2005 at Hopewell Health Care Center. Born in Chesterfield County, she was the daughter of the late John & Antonia Kratochvil Horecka. She was a member of The Church of the Sacred Heart, New Bohemia. Mrs. Kvasnicka is survived by a daughter, Marie K. Hanzlik and husband, George; a son, Louis J. Kvasnicka, Jr. and wife, Ruth all of Prince George; four grandchildren, Diane M. Hanzlik, Nancy H. Barringer and husband, Scott, Susan K. Reiter, and Mark W. Kvasnicka and wife, Karen; four great-grandchildren, Alan M. Kvasnicka, Andrew Reiter, Jordan S. Barringer, and Joan M. Barringer; a sister, Helen H. Watkins of Bel Air, MD; a brother-in-law, Bernard Stronsky of Baltimore, MD; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Christian Wake Service will be held at 7 PM Thursday, May 26, at the Petersburg Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service after which the family will receive friends until 8:30 PM. A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 AM Friday, May 27, at The Church of the Sacred Heart. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Petersburg.
