Mary Langwell

Mary Harris Butterworth Langwell died December 25 in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the daughter of Mary R. and the late Dr. Reynoldson D. Butterworth. Harris graduated from Collegiate School, attended Wheaton College and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She lived and worked in Atlanta where she was also a tireless volunteer in both the arts and education. She is survived by her husband, James Langwell; her son, Reyn Langwell both of Atlanta; her daughter, Kathryn Langwell; son-in-law, Lance Ball and two grandsons of Asheville, NC and her sister, Renny Cave of Richmond. The family cemetery at ?Ridgeway?, 14148 Boydton Plank Road in Dinwiddie, Virginia will be the site of a memorial service on Saturday, January 7 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Atlanta Hospice, 1244 Park Vista Drive, Atlanta, GA 30319. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T.
