Mary Myers

Mary Gee Myers, 87 of Petersburg died December 12, 2005. Miss Myers was a lifelong resident of Petersburg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Harrison Carter Myers and her brothers Harrison Carter Myers, Jr. and Douglas Gee Myers. She attended St. Anne?s School in Charlottesville, VA and Southern College in Petersburg, VA, and was a lifetime member of St. Paul?s Episcopal Church. She is survived by her sister, Anne Myers Finney and her brother, Francis H. Myers. She was a special aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She was affectionately known as May May. She had a wide circle of friends who enriched her life as she enriched theirs. She was also known for her love of animals and was often seen walking her dog with a ready smile for all she met. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, December 15, 2005 at St. Paul?s Episcopal Church with the Rev. Marjorie Bevans officiating with the burial to follow in Blandford Cemetery. The family is being served by the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. The family suggests contributions may be made to St. Paul?s Episcopal Church, P.O.
