Mary P. Umheller

Mary Ann Powell Drumheller, 88, of Hopewell, died, Saturday, August 14, 2004 in John Randolph Medical Center. She was born in Skyler, Va. and was a resident of Hopewell for the past 64 years; Mrs. Drumheller was a retired sample –tester at Continental Can Company with 29 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Annie Powell, her husband, Leonard Haywood Drumheller and a daughter, Annie Mae Drumheller Ellis. Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann Drumheller Vaughan of Hopewell, five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7-8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, August 18, 2004 at 2 PM in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Gerry Shannon. Pastor of New Harvest Christian Life Ministries, officiating.
