Mary Frances Paxton

Mary Frances Paxton, 74, of Hopewell, VA passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2018. Born in White Sulphur Springs, WVA she was the daughter of the late Elmer Pierce and Stella Lillian Sparks Loving; and was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Michael L. Paxton; a brother, Roy Loving; and a sister, Dorothy Schulthorpe. Mrs. Paxton was a wonderful and strong woman who was admired by all who knew her. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jean Paxton Maile (Rodger); a granddaughter, Amber Lynn Jacobs (Rico); great-grandchildren, Michael Hammond, Jahcere Jacobs and Anni “Pookey” Jacobs; a brother, Marshall Loving; two sisters, Vivian Glover and Patricia Martin (Charles); and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Appomattox Cemetery, Hopewell, VA. The family is being served by the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
