Mary Frances Williams Powers

Mary Frances Williams Powers, 76, of Chester, VA passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Born in Meredithville, VA on August 7, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Richard Barrow and Mary Jackson Fulks Williams; and was also preceded in death by a sister, Rosa May; and two brothers, Richard Page and Noland Clyde. Mrs. Powers was a long-time faithful member of Hyles Baptist Church in Chesterfield, VA. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Louis “PeeWee” Warren Powers, Sr.; three sons, Warren Powers, Jr. (Sabrina), Chris Powers (Christi) and Mike Powers (Beth); five grandchildren, Jennifer, Samantha (Blake), April, Caroline and Corey; four sisters, Dorothy Ann, Helen Fay, Kathleen and Mable Sue; and numerous nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at Hyles Baptist Church with the Rev. Ron Talley, officiating. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Crestview Memorial Park, La Crosse, VA. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home.
