Mary Mawyer Quick, 72, of Colonial Heights, passed away Sunday, April 18, 2010. She was preceded in death by her mother and father Marie and Fletcher Mawyer, Sr., her daughter Cheryl Q. Batten and son Robert F. Quick. She is survived by son, Thomas W. Quick; granddaughters, Angela M. Quick and Melissa A. Quick and fiancé, Henry Turner, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Courtney E. Quick; brothers and sisters, Lillian Saunders, Robert and Shirley Bradley, Warren Mawyer, Thurman Mawyer, Thomas and Mildred Mawyer, Fletcher and Hazel Mawyer, and Patricia Pedrick; nieces and nephews, Brenda Bradley, Stephanie Bradley, Cindy Bradley, Lonnie Burgess, Diane Williams, Loretta Cliborne, David Saunders, Ashley Mawyer, Sandy Peterson, Michael Mawyer, Mary Mawyer, Fletcher Mawyer, III, and Christine Lantu; great-nieces and nephews, Ashlie Bradley, Travis Bradley, Crystal Lewis, Ryan Lewis, Heather Lewis, David Cliborne, Ashley Cliborne, Justin Mawyer, Brandon Mawyer, Jessica Megan Peterson, Wesley Lantu, Jessica and Katie Mawyer; dear friend, Jeanette Shope and numerous other family and friends. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, April 22, 2010 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
