Mary Salyards

Mary Virginia Salyards â??Mee-Maâ?, 74, of Chester, VA was called to heaven on Wednesday, January 11, 2012. Preceded in death by her mother, Margaret M. Reilly (Burket) and father, James L. Reilly of Pennsylvania. She leaves to cherish in her memory, sons, Arthur R. Salyards, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Shawn J. Salyards; daughters, Tina M. Salyards, and Maria M. Cox, and her husband Jerimiah; Grandchildren, Joshua, Adam, Nicholas, Tyler, Paul III, Tanya, Layla, Madison, Cecilia, Jessica, Alexandria, Danielle, Stacy, Sarah, and Lisa; brothers, Ben, Edwin and Vincent; sisters, Janet, Lorraine, Jean, Ellen, and Rose; and 15 great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & son Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 20, 2012 at the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Dale Memorial Park in the Garden of Peace.
