Mary Ann Sechrist

Mary Ann Sechrist, 49, a resident of Petersburg and longtime member of Washington Street United Methodist Church, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014. She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Dwight Ryan, and a brother, Daniel T. Ryan. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Lee Sechrist; mother, Ruby E. Ryan; brothers, Michael D. Ryan and wife, Sharon, and Dennis J. Ryan; sister, Kathleen R. Burgess and husband, Richard; her devoted fiancé, Terry Lee Padgett; nephews, Ryan M. Burgess and Zachary T. Burgess, and a niece, Kimberly Liles. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, at the Chesterfield Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with The Reverend Alexis Fathbruckner officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Washington Street United Methodist Church, 22 East Washington Street, Petersburg, VA 23803.
