Mary Todd Skinner, 83, of Dinwiddie died on Thursday, February 14, 2008. She was a very devoted mother, wife and friend who was loved by many. Mary retired from Titmus Optical after 32 years of service. She was a caregiver to a number of people and a devoted member of Kenwood United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fremus Brotan Todd and Lottie Belcher Todd; husband, Robert Linwood Skinner, Sr.; children, Janie Skinner Andrews, Robert L. Skinner, Jr., and Donna Sue Skinner; brothers, Clarence J. Todd and John Todd and sisters, Janie Todd and Rena Rowe. Mary is survived by her daughter, Linda Skinner Wells and husband, Bryant; son, Gerald Wayne Skinner, Sr.; very special ex-daughter in law, Patricia Coleman; two special grandchildren, Gerald Wayne Skinner, Jr. and Connie Skinner Priest; one grandson, Bryant Wells; in addition five grandchildren, Donna A. Davis, Skipper Andrews and wife, Jennifer, Penny Brooks and husband, Clyde, Robin Hile and husband, Carl and Christopher Todd Andrews; three special great-grandchildren, Jessica Priest, Shelby and Sean Skinner of Daytona Beach, Florida; in additon eight great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; brother; James Todd of CT and a numerous of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son from 4-6 pm Sunday, February 17, 2008. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Monday, February 18, 2008 at the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service with Rev. Todd Smith and Rev. Allen Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in the Belcher Family Cemetery. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
