Mary Terry

Mary Elsie Stevens Terry, age 73, of Chester, VA went to be with the Lord on the 8th of November 2006 while surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the daughter of the late Frank Louis Stevens and Elsie May Henley. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was everybodyâ??s Nanny. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene Coleman and her husband Richard and Kimberly Grooms and her husband Walter; grandchildren, Jonathan Terry, Monica Terry, Melissa Chatham, Rickey â??Glennâ? Chatham Jr., Christopher Chatham, Brittany Coleman and Tabitha Coleman; two brothers, Gordon Stevens and Garland Stevens; sisters-in-law, Treva Pegram, Frances Smith and Gertrude Graham; brothers-in law, Clyde Terry and Hobart Terry; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Chester, VA on Friday, November 10, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. Interment will take place in Sunset Memorial Park.
