Mary Frances Watko

Mary Francis Watko, 90, of Hopewell, went to be with the lord on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Watko, Sr. Her greatest joy throughout her life was her family and the closeness they shared. She is survived by her five children, Barbara Azar, Elizabeth Batts (Dean), Alfred Watko, Jr. (Ellen), Judy Brockwell (Roland), Paige Dancy (Roger); as well as 9 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Mary was a well-known face at the A&P in Hopewell where she worked until she retired. She and her family were members of Nazareth Lutheran Church in Hopewell for many years. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Crater Community Hospice, and to all of those who cared for her, and for their support throughout the last two years.
