Matthew Ryan Coyner

Matthew Ryan Coyner, 47, of Chester, VA, died August 24, 2023. Born and raised in Peoria, IL, he was the son of Lynnce and Sharon Coyner. He was a loving father and is survived by his sons, Hayden Coyner and Mason Coyner and his daughter, Delaney Coyner. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening, but more than anything, loved spending time with his children watching Chicago Bears football games, working on projects and visiting his family farm in Illinois. He is also survived by his siblings, Jenny Coyner and Emily Coyner (Dave). A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 8, 2023 at The Heights Church, 17201 US-1, South Chesterfield, Virginia 23834 with Rev. Nathan Decker of Chester United Methodist Church, officiating. The family will receive friends immediately after the service. A Celebration of Life for Illinois family and friends will be Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Salem Lutheran Church, 1700 W. War Memorial Dr, Peoria, IL, 61614. Visitation will start at 10am, with a service at 11am, and lunch at Noon. There will be a private burial.
