Matthew Howard Hanchey

Matthew Howard Hanchey, 74, of Hopewell passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chancey Rayford Hanchey and Mary Belle Hanchey; and his first wife, Sarah Hanchey. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Hanchey; a son, Paul Hanchey (Carolyn); a daughter, Tammy Robertson (Keith); and grandchildren, Chasity Boyd (Kevin), Megan Hanchey and fiancee’ (JonDavid Meraz); his brothers, Ray Hanchey (Pat), Albert Hanchey (Phyllis), Earl Hanchey (Debbie); his sisters, Joyce Usher (David), Bea Matthews (Jim), Faye Megill, Libby McCluan (Robert), Jane Shropshire (Hubert); and numerous extended family and friends. Two memorial services will be held at 11am on Sunday, December 11, 2016 at Iglesia Renacer Church of God, 3604 Woodlawn St, Hopewell, VA 23860. and again on Monday, December 12, 2016 at the church.
