Matthew "Weezy" Phillip Carwile

Matthew “Weezy” Phillip Carwile, 32, of Dinwiddie, passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Dale Carwile; and two grandfathers, Francis “Fats” Carwile and Marvin Phillips. Matthew was a certified chemical operator for Honeywell. He was a former member of the Emergency Response Team at BI Chemical. He also was a highly regarded member of the Emergency Brigade at Honeywell. He had a love for paintball and was a member of the Richmond Rage Paintball Team. He is survived by his mother, Cathy Phillips Carwile (Rusty Baird); sister, Karen C. Stewart; two grandmothers, Maggie Phillips and Ann Carwile; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 26, 2017 at Southlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the Dinwiddie Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. Condolences may be registered at www.jtmorriss.com .
