Mattie Thompson Bailey

Mattie Thompson Bailey, 93, of DeWitt, passed away on Friday, November 25, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Martin and Mary Bishop Martin; husband, Harold Bailey; two daughters, Carolyn F. Thompson and Robin B. Davis; and son-in-law, Robert Davis. Mattie was a devoted member of Rocky Run United Methodist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her daughter, Donna T. Davis and husband, John; her son, Mark A. Bailey and wife, Peggy; two grandchildren, James Matthew Davis and Shelby Marie Davis; and two great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Davis and Robert James (RJ) Davis. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 P.M., on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Rocky Run United Methodist Church, 14925 Glebe Road, DeWitt, VA 23840. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
