Mattie Sherrick

Mattie Jolly Sherrick â??Aunt Mattieâ?, 97, of Chester, VA., passed away June 17, 2011. She was the daughter of the late John Henry and Katherine Carraway Jolly, and also preceded in death by her brothers, George and John Jolly, and sisters, Ida Cheely, Minnie Cheely, and Ellen Virginia Wray. She is survived by a sister, Fannie Wray of Salisbury, NC, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at the Chester chapel of J. T. Morriss and Son Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bermuda Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
