Maxine Partin

Mrs. Maxine Harrington Partin, 81, widow of Louis Claiborne Partin, passed away Friday March 19, 2004. She was a native and lifelong resident of Petersburg, Virginia and was the daughter of the late, Charles and Marion Gill Harrington. Mrs. Partin was a former member of Memorial United Methodist Church and at her passing was a member of West End Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, Jerry Partin of Richmond and Louis C. “L.C.” Partin, Jr. of Chesterfield, two sisters, Alice Hogwood of Petersburg and Elizabeth Harrington of Hanover, Va. ,two nieces , one nephew , and two step-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Monday March 22, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. in the Petersburg Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home with Rev. John Crocker and Dr. William Hales of West End Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Blandford Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M.
