Melanie Madison Vent, 35, of Moon Township, Pennsylvania died Thursday, January 19, 2006 at Magee?s Women?s Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA after a 4 1/2 year battle with breast cancer. She was the beloved wife of over 11 years to Jeffrey Ronald Vent. She was a native of Chester, Virginia and the daughter of Patricia Eubank Madison and the late Larry Woodford Madison, Sr. Born September 26, 1970 in Winchester, Virginia and a graduate from both L.C. Bird High School and Mary Baldwin College. Melanie was a dance student and instructor throughout her life and in many different parts of the country to include Melbourne and Tampa, Florida, Waldorf, Maryland, and Honolulu, Hawaii. She was able to touch so many lives in her short life through her dancing. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are sisters, Katherine Madison and Megan Madison; a brother, Larry Madison, Jr. and wife, Erin She is also the daughter-in-law of Ronald and Elaine Vent, sister-in-law of Laura and Scott Decker, Marcy and Dan Hufnagel, and Kristi Vent, along with 8 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Chesterfield Virginia. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T.
