Melba Morgan Felty, 72, of Prince George, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022. Born in Petersburg, VA, she was the daughter of the late Alvin (Speed) Franklin Morgan and Christine (Tina) Titmus Morgan.
Melba graduated from Petersburg High School in 1967. Following high school, she graduated from nursing school with her LPN degree from Petersburg General Hospital. She later joined Petersburg Children’s Clinic as a Lab Technician. Melba was a woman of faith and enjoyed serving the Lord. She was a lifetime member of West End Baptist Church in Dinwiddie County. She especially enjoyed spending time with her lifelong friends from her service sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. She is survived by her husband, Sieg T. Felty; daughter, Caroline Felty Myers (Troy); son, Morgan Felty (Rebecca); grandchildren, Hayden Myers, Lauren Myers, Owen Myers, Jacob Felty, and Cullen Felty; brother, Ronnie Morgan (Fran); sister, Leah Morgan; sister-in-law, Linda Evans (Norman); and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
