Melissa Edwards

Melissa Ann Edwards, 42, of Chesterfield, Virginia passed away on December 1, 2008. She was a loving wife, mother and daughter and had a deep love for animals. Mrs. Edwards was a member of Kingdom Hall Jehovah Witness in Colonial Heights. She was also a dedicated school mom. Mrs. Edwards is survived by her loving husband of 11 years, Garland W. Edwards; children, Mikayla and Joshua Edwards, Trinity Perrine and husband, Terry of Prince George and Andrea Melton of Hopewell; step-children, Angela and Grant Edwards of Chesterfield; grandchildren, Karis and Kaden Perrine; mother, Colleen Moody of Hopewell; father; William Moody of Emporia; and sisters, Stephanie Smith of Cary, NC; Leeanne Williams, and Leslie Smith both of Hopewell. The family will receive friends at the Chesterfield Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home & Cremation Service on Thursday, December 4, 2008 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 5, 2008 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel, with interment following in Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
