Melvin Lee Foutz, passed away, Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Son of the late Norma and James Foutz, he was born and raised in Virginia Beach. He is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin O’Neal and Mary Holland O’Neal; brother, Gary Kent Foutz. Melvin was a crane operator for 48 years. He was member of the Local 147 Operation Engineers. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, spending time with his grandchildren, playing music, feeding the hungry and the jail ministry. He was a devoted husband, father and loving papa. Melvin is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Brenda Burns Foutz; daughters, Tara Tisdale and husband, Randall, and Amanda Duckworth; grandchildren, Melvin Pulver, Ray McKinney, Karli Pulver, Halie King, Rebecca Tisdale, Thomas Tisdale, Angelo Powell, Serenity Powell; great-grandchildren, Adien Pulver, Cooper Pulver; brother, Andy Foutz; sister, Connie Simmons.
