Mercedes Raymonde Tromley

Mercedes Raymonde Tromley, 88, of Chester, VA passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Marguerite Grouard; her husband, Howard “Mike” Tromley; and son, Frank Brown. She is survived by her daughter, Carole B. Cliborne and husband Jim; and her grandson, Michael Grady Campbell; Mercedes was employed by Seward Luggage Line, the Museum of the Confederacy and Nations Bank. She loved singing, animals and nature. In her retirement she competed in the Senior Olympics and sang with the Southern Airs. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2016 at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester Chapel 3050 W. Hundred Rd. Chester, VA 23831 with the Rev.
