Merrill Bromley

Merrill Calvin Bromley, age 96, of Chesterfield, VA, passed away October 5, 2011. He was the son of the late Calvin Dale and Bessie F. Beauchamp Bromley. Mr. Bromley fought valiantly in the Army during WWII and received a Purple Heart for action in Germany. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Jacqueline Bromley; sons, Bruce Bromley and Merrill David Bromley and wife Terry; grandchildren, Jennifer Butts, Jennie Bromley, Michael Bromley, Joseph Bromley, Ronnie Crawford, Becky Conley; several great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held in the J.T Morriss & Son Funeral Home Chester Chapel on Friday, October 7, 2011 at 1:30 p.m., with interment at Sunset Memorial Park, Chester.
