Michael Dale Barnett

Michael Dale Barnett, 65, of Chesterfield, VA, died October 16, 2017. Born in Haleyville, AL and raised in Paducah, KY, he was preceded in death by his parents, Clyde Morris Barnett, Sr. and Ola King Barnett, and brother, Timothy Noel Barnett. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Kristi Lyn Barnett; daughter, Kelli Michele Barnett of Wichita, KS; son, Michael David Barnett of Birmingham, AL; and brother, Clyde Morris Barnett, Jr. of Camden, TN. Michael was a gentle and giving soul, devoted to his family and church. He was a graduate of Murray State University and retired as a manager after 28 years at Honeywell. He was a founding member of Chesterfield Community Church (7110 Woodpecker Road), where a memorial service will be conducted at 3:00p.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 with Pastor Reggie Kirkman officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:30p.m. prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the building fund of Chesterfield Community Church (P.O.
