Michael Scott Doane

Michael Scott Doane, 25, of Hopewell, passed away on Friday December 9, 2016. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Mike Doane; and his paternal grandmother, Gayle Crabtree. Michael is survived by his mother, Terri Ellis and her husband, Ronnie; father, Chris Crabtree; maternal grandparents, Stella Fullerton and her husband, Doug; paternal grandparents, Gary Crabtree, Patty Tyus and her husband, Mike; brothers, Ryan Acosta, Austin Smith; sisters, Morgan Crabtree, Katlyn Crabtree, Courtney Ellis, Maranda Bailey; uncle Michael Doane and his wife, Nancy; special niece, and nephew Kaydenze, Conner; best friend, Willie Johnson; special friend, Haley Melton; several other aunts, uncles, and other extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm on Friday December 16, 2016 at the Hopewell Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A private service will be held at a later date.
