Michael Newman Pruett

Michael Newman Pruett, 51, passed away on April 12, 2021. He was preceded in death by his father, Henry Wiseman Pruett, Jr. Michael had a huge personality complete with a boisterous laugh. He was a gentle giant, very extroverted, and known for giving the best hugs. Michael was also a huge fan of the Pittsburg Steelers and Alabama Crimson Tide. Michael is survived by his mother, Helen Newman Young (Curtis); brothers, Phillip Pruett (Gayle) and Donald Pruett Sr. (Angela); nephews, Jeremiah Dabney, Welton “Bubba” Dabney (Casey), and Donald Glenn Pruett, Jr. (Kennedy); nieces, Amanda Brehmer (Ricky) and Paige Marie Pruett; step-siblings, Jack, Vicky, Robert, Michelle, Sabrina, and Misty; lifelong “BFF,” Becky Hopkins; and numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
