Michael Woodward

Michael J. Woodward, 59, of Prince George, VA died Monday, May 29, 2023 from a short battle with brain cancer. Born and raised in Hopewell, VA. Proud owner of Select Automotive, Inc. for 26 years. Mike has always had a passion and love for cars especially Fords.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Mary Woodward; father, James Woodward; and sister, Debra Battle. He is survived by his significant other, Mari Renee Powers; nieces, Rebecca Battle, of Olympia, Washington and Katy Battle, of Edenton, North Carolina; his little four legged children, Barney, Gypsey, Jasper, and Bean; a special Uncle George Barnes and Aunt Dot Barnes, of Henderson, North Carolina; along with other uncles, aunts and cousins.
A Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home - Hopewell Chapel. A Funeral Service will held on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with interment to follow at Bermuda Memorial Park in Enon, VA.
