"Mickey" Silvestro

Nicholas ?Mickey? Silvestro, Jr. 61, of Hopewell, died Tuesday, October 11, 2005 in Chippenham Medical Center. . He was born in Hopewell. Mr. Silvestro served in the U.S Army during the Vietnam War, was a retired Sheet-Metal worker with Local Union #100., a member of the VFW Post 637, and Legion, Loyal Order of Moose # 1472. Mickey was preceded in death by his parents, Nicholas and Mary Forti Silvestro. Surviving are his daughter, Theresa S. Griffin and husband Jimmy , three grandchildren, Kayla, Nicholas, and Maryssa Griffin all of Chester, a sister, Joanne Christoffersen Nichols and husband John of Chester, two brothers Donald J. Silvestro of Hopewell and Larry W. Silvestro and wife Lorna of Chester. The family will receive friends Friday, October 14, 2005 from 7-8:30 PM in the Hopewell Chapel of J. T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home and Cremation Service. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home Hopewell Chapel with interment in Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens, Prince George, Va.
